A little help.
A clearer next step.

Guidance for the current Worktold iPhone app, including captures, reports, and managing your data.

Getting started

Worktold is currently in development. If you are an invited tester, use the installation instructions that came with your invitation.

  1. Open Worktold on your iPhone and sign in to your account.
  2. Create a project for your work. Add optional sub-projects to organize it further.
  3. From Worklog, tap Capture to speak or type a note. Review the transcript and tap Save Capture.
  4. Open Review & Approve Day to check the resulting activities, projects, and times.

Captures & review

Can I type instead of speaking?

Yes. Typed input is available in Capture, and you can add a manual activity when you already know the details.

What if a capture is wrong?

Edit the transcript before saving. In your worklog, review the related activities and resolve anything marked Needs Attention before approving the day. Optional AI revision on Plus and Pro only applies when you accept a suggestion.

What happens when a capture cannot be processed?

Check the recovery message in Worklog. Retry when a temporary issue is resolved. If a plan allowance is holding the capture, use the offered manual-entry, discard, or plan options. Avoid repeatedly saving the same work.

Does Worktold save voice recordings?

Worktold does not save audio recordings. It retains the text transcript as work evidence until you delete it. Apple’s speech processing can depend on device and language support; see the privacy draft for the processing boundaries under review.

Reports & invoices

Why can’t I create a work report?

The days included in a work report must be approved. Check the report message and follow its link to any day that still needs review. Your plan’s monthly allowance can also affect creating a new report.

How do client invoices work?

Client invoicing requires Pro and a contractor workspace. Choose a client, a period, and the tasks to bill. Review the draft before finalizing. Finalized invoices claim their billed hours; reopening an invoice releases those hours for billing again.

Will a plan change erase my work?

Saved history and finalized documents are preserved on downgrade. Some actions depend on your current plan; for example, invoice drafts may become read-only.

Export your data

In the app, open Profile → Privacy & Data → Export My Data. Account export includes stored work records and account metadata, and excludes email-provider access and refresh tokens.

Unsent local captures are not included in the server account export. Resolve pending captures and save any reports or financial records you need before deleting your account.

Delete your Worktold account

You can initiate account deletion inside the app.

  1. Export your data and separately save reports or invoices you need to retain.
  2. Open Profile and scroll to Delete Account.
  3. Read the deletion notice and complete the confirmation shown in the app.

Deletion permanently removes the account and associated work records from Worktold’s active database. Exact backup-expiry and any legally required retention periods still need confirmation before public launch. Copies you have exported or sent to someone else are outside this deletion flow.

Deleting Worktold or its account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage any Apple subscription in your iPhone’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Apple provides subscription cancellation instructions.

If you cannot access your account, invited testers should use their invitation’s contact channel. A public support address will be added before launch.

Still need help?

A public support email is not available yet. Invited testers can contact the person who provided their invitation.

Never include passwords, verification codes, or email-provider tokens in a support message. Share only the work details needed to explain the issue.
